From the "change your password" department:

Crowd-funding site Kickstarter has announced that an attacker has made off with
user data.
In this announcement [1], the company's Yancey Strickler says it was alerted by
law enforcement on Wednesday night, February 11, that customer data had been obtained
by attackers.
According to Reuters [2], Kickstarter retains the last four digits of non-US credit
cards, but this wasn't accessed.

This isn't completely accurate... they store the last 4 digits of cards used to fund non-US projects, so they probably have data for a large number of US cards. Kickstarter still maintains that this data wasn't accessed. Hmm... I think I remember Target saying something similar.
