Seems straightforward to me: everyone who wanted one, bought one. The current gear is working, and there are no compelling reasons to upgrade. I'm currently rocking a Nexus 7, the Missus has an Ipad Mini, and we gave her old Ipad (the big one) to the mother in law when we realized it was a bit big for our liking. We are not in the market; I wouldn't be surprised if others are finding themselves in the same situation.
