I came across this yesterday in a comment to an article about the security of a UK supermarket's online offering (Asda, the UK's Walmart outlet): - it wouldn't accept a valid email address of the form asda@subdomain.url.tld - - maximum password length 12 - password past disabled when the author sent them an email highlighting these problems the response was "We see you managed to create an account, so what's the problem?"
