I powered up a rarely used machine today to install updates, and the
Oracle Java update tool gave me a good telling off.

It seems I had not used Java for 6 months, so it recommended me to
remove the entire package, further explaining that out-of-date packages
are dangerous.

This makes me very happy, but once upon a time the Java installer was
proud in proclaiming the billions of machines (PCs. set-top boxes,
auto-mobiles, phones, coffee makers etc..) that ran their software.

And now they are actively aiming to reduce that number.

Cool :)
