Does anyone have a link for the old (early 1990s) app "Windown? It's an app for loading PS and PS fonts onto printers. I have a HP2420 with a Compact Flash card for font storage, but can't work out how to put fonts on it; hoping that this might be able to do it.

IIUC "redmon" is a more recent tool for this. I don't know if this is the best option currently available, but it should yield more hits than Windown.

But I know redmon and it has no abilities regarding fonts or printer memory at all. See http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/redmon/en/redmon19.htm

See http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/redmon/en/redmon19.htm See the setup files here: ftp://ftp.uma.es/pub/Drivers/PRINTERS/APPLE/12600COL/DISCO1/ I have examined the APSW.1 archive and it definitely contains a copy of WINDOWN.EXE
