Starting with Acrobat 8, a special command of Acrodist-F run from the command line was needed to let Distiller read and write host files. I just moved Acrobat 9 to Windows 8 and it does not accept the command line of start Acrodist-F. It is of utmost importance that I can continue to use PostScript to read and write host files. Adobe help goes round and round without being useful. Help! -- Many thanks, Don Lancaster voice phone: (928)428-4073 Synergetics 3860 West First Street Box 809 Thatcher, AZ 85552 rss: http://www.tinaja.com/whtnu.xml email: don@tinaja.com Ple
