#2211 — CMYK PDF to RGB, via GSview Convert or otherwise

I want to make a screen-friendly PDF from a CMYK PDF.

I found a method using GSview's "Convert".
The result however looked odd: compared to Acrobat's display of the CMYK, the "Converted" version was darker and maybe bluer.

The config for Convert is not obvious to me, is there a way to change how the colourspaces are mapped?

Or is there another (free) method for doing this?
(Not just rasterising the whole page.)

Yes, and no.

Use Ghostscript (its what GSView uses). use the pdfwrite device (to
produce PDF output) and select -sColorConversionStrategy=DeviceRGB. I'm
assuming here that 'screen-firendly' mrans 'I want it in RGB'.

You can also control image resolution and downsampling etc if size is
what concerns you.
