Essentially yes, fairly easily. The graphic you refer to is actually an image, so the font is a picture, not vector data. The image is combined with a soft mask, which is transparency, and therefore not avilable in PostScript, but the mask appears to be 100% opaque (thus pointless, other than for slowing down processing and using more memory). Removing the SMask shows no visible differences. So yes, you could embed that image in a PostScript program instead, and get the same result. Ken
