I programmed a website in PHP5 (CodeIgniter). I worked fine, but suddenly I have a problem with a form.

I changed nothing in my php.ini nor in CodeIgniter configuration. As I said, it was working fine so far. Please help, I have little experience.

I suggest you try asking CodeIgniter support.  There is no indication
this is a PHP problem (if there were one, millions of websites would be
failing).

When dealing with a product, your best support is almost always to ask
in that product support.  They know their product better than anyone
else, and few, if any, people here have ever used CodeIgniter.

Did the form ever work? If it did, what changed? Undo the change.

If the form has never worked (eg this is a new form and it doesn't work) 
reduce the form to the minimum (one data field with a preset value and a 
submit button) and see if that works.

eg:

<input name="test" value="test" type="text">
<input type="submit">
</form>

If that doesn't work, I guess there's an issue in your codeigniter config. 
I have no idea how to fix that, sorry, can't help any further.

Logging out from the Google account (or switch to another profile that is 
connected to the account) before starting the search should fix this 
problem, but it may not fix the problem of localization.
