Not a problem with CentOS 7 which broke out the various plugins for databases (that's what you're missing--the MySQL plugin). Try installing the MySQL server, then the php server packages. Are the PHP and MySQL libraries from your distribution, or did you get them somewhere else and/or compile them yourself? If not from your distribution, then I definitely suspect a version mismatch. Just a side note: PHP 5.3.29 is pretty old and has been past end of life since August, 2014. -- ================== Remove the "x" from my email address Jerry Stuckle jstucklex@attglobal.net ==================

Also, did you remove the php-mysql extension and install the php-mysqlnd-ms extension from the Debian repository (I don't know about Centos)? Maybe it would be better if you just went step-by-step through how you installed the extension. It's really looking like you have a mismatch in compilations. The PECL extension indicates it should work with PHP 5.3.6-dev or better and PEAR 1.4.0 or better, so it should work with your PHP version. But it also hasn't been updated in over 1.5 years, so that may no longer be true. P.S. Please don't top post. Thanks. -- ================== Remove the "x" from my email address Jerry Stuckle jstucklex@attglobal.net ==================
