According to the documentation from wimpy player, you are supposed to be able to send data from the player to an external page. They do this using a <comment> tag. Such as <comment>pagefile.php?data=value</comment> Quote are not required here. What's the proper way in getting the php file to store this information until it is displayed? I tried using $GET but that does not work.

You may use this domain in examples without prior coordination or asking for permission. As described in RFC 2606 and RFC 6761, a number of domains such as example.com and example.org for documentation purposes. These domains may be used as illustrative examples in documents without prior coordination with us. They are not available for registration or transfer. It has been long accepted by most news providers and ISP's that usage of this domain name for posting to usenet is not a violation of any kind. But you are free to write to my news provider, newsguy.com and complain all you want. I got suspended for a day once because the domain I used suddenly got registered by a certain person and he bitched about it. "Yeah we know he's an idiot". So I changed the addy and went back to posting. I'd love to know what they answer you with.

You may not know richard yet - but he has proven many times that he is either not willing or able to learn the principles of programming. For many years now richard tries to build a website where visitors can browse and listen to music clips and most (if not all) questions by him have to with this topic. Some "classics": Mixing up "=" and "==" (I'm not sure, if richard still does not really understand the difference). Typos in the first place and a day (or hours) later richard withdraws his question with a message like "ok, works now" or similar and of course without any explanation what exactly he changed. Total lack of understanding the principles of database design but still trying to tell others why either a database are not neccessary at all or why normalizing databases is not neccessary (since richard doesn't even know what a "normalizing" means and therefore refuses to accept that this may be useful). Just ignore such threads. -- Arno Welzel http://arnowelzel.de http://de-rec-fahrrad.de http://fahrradzukunft.de
