I don't follow.  ES (as they are often known) want to know what account
to close if you use their service inappropriately and so that readers
can link posts together.  Whilst you can cut the key yourself (you pick
the email address and the password) you have to use that key once cut.
The sign-up is deliberately non-trivial so you don't post with a new
identity every time.

It does not have to be pastebin.com.  I usually upload files to my
hosting account and put up a link to that.
