You have to prove that.

Big 8 newsgroups are international newsgroups, i.e. they are distributed to 
servers planetwide.  There is more than one natural language on this planet, 
and Usenet is not reserved to speakers of English.  That precludes the 
possibility that those newsgroups, including this one, could be limited to 
English, could be “English language newsgroup[s]”.  It just happens that 
English is the language that is most commonly understood in the field that 
covers the topic of the newsgroup.

By contrast, there are local newsgroups, whose subscribers are, and whose 
distribution may be, limited to a certain language, country or area.  As a 
result, postings in another language than spoken primarily in that country 
or area are at least frowned upon.  For example, if you posted in German in 
uk.ALL (British) you would either be ignored, royally[tm] flamed, or told 
politely to post to de.ALL (German-speaking, not limited to Germany).  Not 
so in the Big 8.  I have seen (non-spam) postings in Mandarin Chinese, 
French, Spanish, Polish, and Portuguese there, among others, and sometimes 
follow-ups in kind.  Nobody objected to that, and, as you should understand 
by now, for good reason.
