Not good. Since systest runs ans libtest fails, its almost certainly
signal() that's causing the trouble. It seems to get harder and harder
to write a working signal() functions in a few lines of assembly these
days. (And it already is a wrapper around sigaction() on Linux.)

Any particular reasons for this?

No, the Linux port does not use GLIBC at all.
