Hi,

Now you can run as many JavaScript tasks as you want in kernel
threads, in parallel, from within a single Node.js process.

And get all the juice out of these CPU cores that come in your PC,
automatically.

http://github.com/xk/node-threads-a-gogo

Enjoy,

IMHO, more, and conspicuous, links are required to what is needed in
order to be able to run this - including one to a simple list. In that,
include what to you may seem obvious.

-Install node: http://nodejs.org
-Install threads_a_gogo: http://github.com/xk/node-threads-a-gogo
-require('threads_a_gogo') in your program
-study the API, follow the instructions: http://github.com/xk/node-threads-a-gogo

More or less, that's it.

If you need more detailed help, simply ask.

One caveat: threads_a_gogo -currently- runs only in Linux and Mac OSX
(darwin), not on Windows (yet).

I was suggesting that the cited page needs the information, not that I
wanted to know myself.

It would particularly be a courtesy to those who think they might be
interested but cannot actually yet use it.

Oh, sorry, Mr. Stockton, my bad.

I thought, mistakenly, that it was you who wanted to know,
because it never occurred to me that a page could need the
information
itself ;-)

The name alone is a deal-breaker.

That too. And who needs threads anyway? You can't just run multiple
nodes?
