#15377 — Q on "sliding" images

OK, i have 3 different images on a web page, first one is shown with
its text, then the next one, etc.
   Two questions:
1) where the heck does those 3 squares come from, along with the round
filled circles inside - and more important how can they be eliminated?

2) How can the timing be altered (did not write the code and do not know
where that particular javascript is hiding - over 6 .js files)?

     Please read
          http://sscce.org/
          http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html
and repost. As it is, how would we know what is going wrong? (You
have omitted useful details.)

Sincerely,

Gene Wirchenko

   Sorry.
Did not write the code, and do not understand the code.
I am not complaining about any "bug".
I am trying to get some kind of pointer to finding then altering the
code towards the following:
1) change timing between "slider" pictures+text
2) removing the (to me) pesky boxes and moving filled circles (do not
know what they are called).
For a visual look at those boxes and circles, go to and scroll down
some at:
http://static.livedemo00.template-help.com/wt_39324/

The boxes are less visible on my site (same "slider" code):
http://www.oil4lessllc.com/

Yes, the boxes are invisible in both cases (FireFox, SeaMonkey), but
they do exist, are square, and slightly larger than the circles.
There are N of these for N "slider" pictures (on my site, click on
"Data Sheets" and look to right, down a little); not all browsers show
the circles. IE6 "pushes" the pictures down below the text and shows the
boxes and moving shaded circle.

It ssems to me you are asking about a jquery code.

Many of us here think jquery to be a sloppy implementation,
not to be touched without safety gloves.

Please search for a jquery forum ig you want to meet adepts.

Yeah, when i first looked at the index.html file and saw that, i
thought "jQUERY?"...query?? WTF? ain't no "questions" popping up to answer".

You say sloppy; no wonder why i have so much trouble trying to put
images and associated text decently (been futzing with the CSS files on
a local basis).
