#29570 — Java Pop-Up Box Issue?

SubjectJava Pop-Up Box Issue?

I posted this in another newsgroup, but thought I should post it here also!

I'm running the latest version of Java and have a little bit of an issue. When
starting one of my games (Blackjack from Games.com), a Java box pops up for a
couple of second and then closes - not enough time to read what it says. Is
there anyway to turn that pop-up off?

Thanks for any insights!

Better think again.

JavaScript is NOT the script version of Java.

How did you get that idea?

And how did you get the idea that address munging would be acceptable?

I suggest you to ignore the troll (Thomas Lahn)

> How did you get that idea?

Translated to mentally healthy words: This group is for Javascript, not
Java. (though Lahn thinks “there is no Javascript)

> And how did you get the idea that address munging would be acceptable?

Translated to mentally healthy words: I don't like that people do things
differently than I do.
