With clientside javascript you can't as your code is distributed
in source form and is easily readable. With JScript, there is the
Script Encoder (see MSDN), but this is nothing more than obfuscation.
Attempting to disable the context menu does nothing to
protect your script in a Web browser.

Your code is likely protected under copyright laws. See:

I thought that, once upon a time when I requested some Algol source.
Alas, although the reserved words were the same, the identifiers and the
comment were in (IIRC) Hungarian. The compiler understood it, but I did
not.

Exactly. AFAICT, the best you can do is give the person that wants to copy
the JavaScript a fairly massive headache!

You can try Yuicompressor or Closure https://developers.google.com/closure/

These are still obscuraters (although it is
arguable that Closure is not even that), so
the FAQ answer is not wrong just out of
date. The FAQ needs to make a more general
statement, and not imply that Microsoft
Script Encoder is the only option.

Also note that according to:
http://www.yuiblog.com/blog/2012/10/16/state-of-yui-compressor/

the Yui Compressor has been deprecated.

You have missed the point of the FAQ entry. Compacting, compressing, or
obfuscating code does _not_ protect the code from being reused; it can be
uncompacted, uncompressed, or unobfuscated on the client-side at any time.
