I realize quite a bit more than you care to admit. An attempt at reverse psychology will fail with me. If you had spent any of the last few minutes working on your problem and/or thinking instead of playing with your e-penor, you'd be done by now and happy.

Well this is the case, i found code that works. Code monkey showed up critsizing the code i found, and ***offered a better way***... I apparently applied the code monkeys astonishing 7 line of perfection the wrong way, or code monkey chewed his own ass. But i assumed it was my appliance of his code that was wrong so i asked him to put some HTML code around for a copy paste example. Code monkey start to get anal, and i smacked the bitch up.

End of story.

I take the little code monkey for an IQ test any day, and then we all have a laugh.

Yeah a monkey with a stick and stone, is all that in the monkey world riding on a powertrip.

I do not think anything really useful will be coming from watching him using it he is afterall a monkey.

Here's a little experiment:

Do I have to offer helpful advice in order to get this guy to insult me?
Or is simply responding in the thread enough?

I believe you meant "butt picking". Sorry,
but I couldn't resist.

After you have digested Example 21-4, you
also might want to look at examples 21-5
through 21-13. All this code has been
tested by the author of the book.

No need be sorry, once you go anal you just can't help it, can you.
That is the life of a code monkey.

According to <http://www.kreuzotter.de/impressum.htm>, you are correct.
This also explains why the last update was in 2009.

In that case the obituary should be along these lines:

He had some good ideas, but he had not yet acquired the skills to implement
all of them properly. He leaves the world with a challenging legacy.

From wz_tooltip.js:

function tt_ExtCmdEnum()
{
	var s;

	// Add new command(s) to the commands enum
	for(var i in config)
	{
		s = "window." + i.toString().toUpperCase();
		if(eval("typeof(" + s + ") == tt_u"))
		{
			eval(s + " = " + tt_aV.length);
			tt_aV[tt_aV.length] = null;
		}
	}
}

Sorry for jumping in so late; just wanted to add another neat trick you
can use by extending the canvas like this:

   CanvasRenderingContext2D.prototype.line = function(x1, y1, x2, y2) {
       this.moveTo(x1, y1);
       this.lineTo(x2, y2);
   }

Now you can call using your context like this:

   context.line(10, 10, 100, 100);
   context.stroke();

I have an addition for a dashed line of "any" pattern through any number
of points with straight phase-coherent lines between them - dashTo, in
<http://www.merlyn.demon.co.uk/inc-grfx.js>, demo in <http://www.merlyn.
demon.co.uk/js-grphx.htm> (ReadFiles once, ReadText, but read ALL the
page FIRST).

FYI -

Dashed lines are now supported natively in major browser with vendor
prefixes. Not quite there yet as to uniformity but usable when used in a
wrapper function.

Webkit (Chrome):

   context.setLineDash(pattern); // array, ie. [5, 2, ...]
   context.lineDashOffset = offset;

For Mozilla:

   context.mozDash = pattern; // array
   context.mozDashOffset = offset;

Useful to know, thanks. Added as comment to inc-grfx.js.

Augmenting the prototype object of host objects is not necessarily possible;
implementing a DOM interface does not require its implementation as a
constructor-like object of the same name.

Where have you successfully tested this?
