Is it any recommendation to which doctype is best to use. Here I have two the first one is HTML 5 and the second is strict xhtml <!DOCTYPE html> <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> //Tony

To Tony I'd not consider xhtml as an option for one, use the HTML5 doctype and as far as legacy support for older browsers on features, do a check per feature.
