Hi,

I have a website with a jQuery drop down on hover. Now when I load the page it seems to be all well aligned until i hover over the drop down tab from where the jQuery hover appears, from then on I get a horizontal scroll bar that doesn't disappear anymore as the drop down hides when hover out.
Any one any ideas why there is a scroll bar #1 and why it doesn't disappear when the drop down disappears again, #2.
Thank you!
The url is http://wittmerperformance.com/site/ (just hit cancel at the password prompt).

Thanks,
Ron

Teh scroll bar is there from the very beginning and is most likely
caused by the "showreel" thingy.
Your markup has a couple of errors as has your CSS (in Firefox 16). Fix
them first.

Gregor

Yeah okay, I see the image bar that extdends to the right with firefox's 3D view inspector - now only, how do I change this? It says its width is inline set to 3270px but i don't see this anywhere... In the meantime i'm working on fixing all the markup errors...

Got rid of all the errors except 1... and i don't really understand the issue, my html looks like this:
<div class="field-items">
        <p> <div class="region region-home-content"> and the validator tells me that the last div is not an allowed element at this position... wtf?

I suppose the 3270px stems from your jQuery plugin, which arranges the
images horizontally.

What's the p element doing there? Div elements are not allowed withing p
elements.

You got something like

<div>
   <p>
     <div>
       <div>
         <div>
          <h2>
            <h4>

I suggest you find a jQuery forum to ask in. clj isn't a jQuery forum.
