I am on this bug for two hours.

In my page http://www.jmrw.com/Chess/Tableau_echecs/index.htm#bas

When I seize a number there and the press on the button "play
chronological", I have to do it twice, the first time it does'nt work.

I don't understand why.

thanks.

<form>

Please read the FAQ: <http://jibbering.com/faq/#posting>:

| Validate the HTML and CSS <http://validator.w3.org/>,
| <http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/>.

and act accordingly. ;-)

And have a look at the JS (error) console of your browser; on the first
click Chrome reports two errors.

[snip html and js]

Sorry, but your markup and code are completely unreadable. The linked
page is 5600 lines long and does not validate as HTML. If you want help,
fix your HTML, remove everything non-essential from your post
(&nbsp;&nbsp;....) and format your code and markup so that we can read
it without dislocating our eyeballs.

I have added a button intialisation line 5593 :
    <button id="Initialisation"> &nbsp;Initialisation&nbsp;</button>
Now it works fine under IE, Firefox and Chrome.

Is it a way to avoid to press on this button.

I am going to read the read the FAQ with attention. Sorry for the trouble.

thanks

since</button>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

<button id="but_random" onClick="playrandom = true ; stop() ;
resume();diaporama(); resume()">&nbsp;play
random&nbsp;</button>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
<button id="but_stop"  onClick="stop()">
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;stop&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</button>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
<button id="but_resume"  onClick="resume()"> &nbsp;resume&nbsp;</button>
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
  <input name="choix" TYPE="radio" onClick="tempo=2000"  value="2000"> 2s
  <input name="choix" TYPE="radio" onClick="tempo=4000"  value="4000"
