Even the FAQ is erroneous and out of date. Should a disclaimer be
placed within the FAQ itself that the information contained within is
not reliable?

That is quite unnecessary. One should never trust any document for
anything other than expressing what was in the mind of the author at the
time of writing, but corrupted by typoes, editing, etc., etc.

Example : perhaps you did not know, but the GB legislative system of
1751 decreed "perpetual" rules for the Date of Easter Sunday within GB &
colonies - and they got it right, as the aim was to do it better than
the Papists, but still getting the same results. You can read that in,
for example, "Statutes at Large 1765". But the version at the end of
<http://www.legislation.gov.uk/apgb/Geo2/24/23/section/6> is manifestly
corrupt and cannot yield any date at all. I do not know whether it
correctly represents the true state of UK Law as amended to date (i.e.
who got it wrong).

And it is even more unnecessary, since it is well-known that the content
of a document currently revealed by invoking a "written" URL is not
necessarily exactly, or anything like, what it was when the URL was
"written".

But some documents are absolute. For instance, ECMA 262 v2 is what it
is. It can't misrepresent version 2.

The latest version is a bit more fragile. It's definitive, but there can
be words the committee would rather be different. Even if you don't like
it you can't say it's wrong, just wrong-headed.

You should find it easier to correct the Wikipedia article rather than
the FAQ. Now if you had provided the URL or title of that article, any
of us might have been able to fix it.
