Hello,

If someone is interested about a fast Python to Javascript translator (not a compiler like Brython which is another beast)

Here is a link of a RapydScript Tester.
For now it's only for windows.

Regards

The first thing that you do not know is that there is no Javascript:
<http://PointedEars.de/es-matrix>

I would consider this basic knowledge a prerequisite to writing anything
that generates code that can be executed in a subset of sufficiently
conforming implementations of ECMAScript.

And why should anyone run the risk of executing malware when executing your
anonymously published binary? Where is your source code?

I could probably do the same on *x (that includes Mac OS X) with a simple
shell script (sed(1) comes to mind). But a language “translator” does not
necessarily create good code. As you should know, there are things in
Python that you would do quite differently in other programming languages
because Python by comparison is very expressive indeed and has a big runtime
library – approaches that are called “pythonic” because of that. For a
start, ECMAScript implementations do not need to include an output mechanism
as Python does; something like Python's “print(…)” is provided by the
respective runtime environment instead.

You are perfectly right concerning the source.
I will publish them
You can view a demo online here :

Please, test the online version and see if
the generated code is not well formed.
And also see the source code of the demos.

How can you make assumptions about the generated source without
having seeing it.

Please tell me your opinions after having look at it.

Regards
