May 24, 2012 John Deubert's Acumen Training announces the release of a new, PDF-format e-book, "Beginning JavaScript for Adobe Acrobat" The book, aimed at the non-programmer, steps the reader through the implementation of advanced features in Acrobat forms and simultaneously introduces the principles and practice of JavaScript programming. Based on a 2003 book on the same topic, this new volume has been rewritten for Acrobat X. Author John Deubert has written the past three Visual Quickstart Guides for Adobe Acrobat and is a longtime teacher of engineering-level classes in PDF and PostScript through his Acumen Training consultancy. John worked at Adobe Systems in its startup days (he was their 19th employee) and has worked with PostScript and PDF longer than almost anyone else. Beginning JavaScript for Adobe Acrobat sells for $24.95, but is discounted to $19.95 for its initial introduction through May 31, 2012. Information about the book, including a two-chapter sampler, is available at www.acumentraining.com/AcroJS1.html The book is available for purchase at the above url. -- ======== John Deubert Acumen Training PostScript & PDF Engineering Classes & Consulting www.acumentraining.com Learn advanced Acrobat techniques Read the free Acumen Journal www.acumentraining.com/acumenjournal.html
