For my pages like this one :

http://www.jmrw.com/Chess/Kopnin/base.htm

I would like to select the next item of the form by clicking on the picture
on right or on the photo on left.

Is it possible and how?

Thanks

Yes.

Put references to all relevant element objects in an Array (or NodeList).
Keep a counter for that object. On click, increase or reset the counter
(the `%' operator comes in handy), then call the specified object's focus()
method.
