If you actually think it is not intelligent to also allow for private
communication in a public communications medium; if you think that it is
intelligent instead to burden others with the results of your anti-social
behavior, then there is nothing left to discuss with you indeed.

I can only hope that other people here, too, are intelligent enough to
deprive you of the answers to your questions, the solutions to your
problems, and the time that would have to be invested by them into devising
and wording those, which you evidently do not deserve.

When I used Demon WebMail, I could get up to 200 per minute, IIRC - mail
details displayed one per line, 50 per page, alphabetical by recipient,
only a few beginnings for old but legitimate names and the rest of the
names derived from old message-IDs. Real mail arrived by another
route. No need, of course, to open any.

That's the spam blitz I was thinking of. In my case I had to look down
the screen very carefully to avoid deleting real mail. That's what
took the time.

Your welcome. And don't mind the cave trolls. They live here and have
noting to do but to attack constuctive posts and not contribute with any
them self but negativity (the major reason Usenet is of so low quality) :-)

It was tested with Firefox and Chrome btw. Just use this link:
http://jsfiddle.net/acwHQ/ and open console to see if you get valid
result with your browser.

Even the simple-minded can, in simple cases, get the former to work.

But, for those capable of making proper use of it, the structured
approach is better, if sensibly applied.

Commonly, a script will make a number of references to elements in one
form before going on to another; so instead of writing

  ... = document.forms['form'].elements['foo_box'].this
  ... = document.forms['form'].elements['foo_box'].that
...
  document.forms['form'].elements['foo_box'].tother = ...

one would first think of writing

  F = document.forms['form']
  ... = F.elements['foo_box'].this
  ... = F.elements['foo_box'].that
...
  F.elements['foo_box'].tother = ...

and then

  X = F.elements['foo_box']

and so on.

Then one can have a set of similar forms, similarly generated, which can
be handled with one set of code which is given a reference to the
current form. Consider a case such as
<http://www.merlyn.demon.co.uk/holidays.htm>, and its function MakeForm
(Aside : the page was written before I knew about building DOM tree
branches with function calls). While there, check if possible your
local holidays.

You should not name a form 'form'. It may be perfectly legal script.
but it makes editing harder, since a simple search for 'form' will find
both, and possibly "forms" and "Inform" too. Call it "Frm" and that
problem cannot occur.
