Perhaps this is because your tests failed. Perhaps you need something in the server to read the data from the json file on the server and send it to the client as required, and then suitable code in the client to receive the data and do something useful with it. Perhaps you need to rewrite the json file as a js file and include it in a script element so that it gets downloaded in its entirety when the parent page is requested, and then the json data is always available to the scripts running in the page.
