As far as I can see, there's no significant difference at all. The
second example just has some extra whitespace removed. That the
whitespace accounts for over half of the document size is a bit extreme,
but not unheard of. The JS code is unchanged.

(BTW, "ko" is short for kilo-octet, which is French for kilobyte)
