[You cannot 'do' requirements, imho]

If my doctor prescribes me daily exercises,
[he wouldn't dare, btw,]
would it help my aching back if you 'do' those for me?

After all, it's not the result of the exercise that is important,
as all the learning is in the doing.

Your teacher will have taught you the necessary skills to do this job,
like using your brains, experimenting and debugging.
