Your testing is as good as my testing, I suppose.

Methinks both should do fine, you test it:

================
document.body.onload = 'alert("I`m loaded");'
================

and

================
function sureIam() {
  alert("I`m loaded");
}; 

document.body.onload = sureIam;
================

Mind: no () in the latter.
