Hi,
In Gmail, after I log in and the progress bar goes to the end, the mail screen "appears" - how is this "appearing" done? Surely the whole thing is not a <canvas> .....? (I don't think the URL changes either, though I'm not sure....)

Also, clicking on the subject of a mail brings up that mail - is this an "addEventListener"? Does this mean that addEventListener can be used to do stuff (that is, run some Javascript) WITHOUT THE SCREEN GOING BLANK AND LOADING THE NEXT PAGE?

Also, when I click a particular mail, it *loads* it, ie. it says "loading" and, presumably, gets it from the server - then what is it doing in the beginning when the progress bar is going by?

Thanks.
