Guys, either just answer the question or don't post anything, seriously. I hope it fulfilled your starving, over-sized egos to tell off some random person on the Internet that you'll never see in real life.

Probably, for a fleeting moment, but they'll soon be back for another fix.

Pluralis maiestatis ? Just this morning, I counted myself in front of the
mirror, and there was only one of me.

I do however hope it fulfilled your starving, over-sized egos to tell off
some random person on the Internet that you'll never see in real life. You
seemed quite desperate for an excuse to do so, to jump on this particular
post, where only a single person responded, and the total extend of their
"telling off" being to name a class "DoYourHomework".

It seems you have quite a chip on your shoulder.

http://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/british/have-a-chip-on-your-shoulder

to seem angry all the time because you think you have been treated
unfairly or feel you are not as good as other people:

How does berating someone (quite rightly IMHO) for being an ass (that's
you in this instance) translate into 'It seems you have quite a chip on
your shoulder'

Just asking

I posted a somewhat humerous answer to someones pretty pointless question,
titled "DoYourHomework", while also linking to a helpful resource.

As a response to that, a random stranger jumped spewing random personal
insults, and he was apparently so upset that in his mind, I turned into
multiple people. Imo, his response said more about him than about me; in
particular, it seemed to me that he was looking for an excuse to attack
someone over giving people answers they might not like.

Good job on continuing the personal insults. I especially appreciate the
name calling. No doubt you are right, I'm a huge ass, and certainly deserve
being berated over linking someone to a tutorial. What a horrible person I
am.

Geez.

Oh dear, have I hurt your feelings again, you really are a delicate
flower aren't you?

Good grief, if you post a 'witty' reply to somebody who wants someone to
do their homework for them that's OK is it? but when someone suggests
that rather than wasting your time replying you might be better off just
ignoring what was admittedly a 'less that optimal' request for
assistance, you get all upset. Personally I don't think it even rated a
link to a tutorial. It was a rude and lazy demand for assistance and
deserved ignoring.

Why do you take it all so personally?

I've been roundly abused many times here and it makes not one jot of
difference. I just laugh louder the more manic the abuse gets.
I really couldn't give a flying fuck what people think of 'me' (whoever
me is) and I don't take it personally.

Jeez
