Doing some reading regarding my recent post I came across a reference in JLS Chapter 13 to a paper entitled: Release-to-Release Binary Compatibility in SOM (Forman, Conner, Danforth, and Raper, Proceedings of OOPSLA '95). Curious, I went looking for it and found it located in the ACM Digital Library. Not being a member of ACM I would normally have had to purchase a copy to read. Fortunately, due to the Covid-19, ACM is generously making it's publications freely available through June 30.
