One war file or ear file per project?

Yes. For every project one. Will this work to deploy them in parallel ?

You can deploy multiple ear/war to the same Glassfish
instance independently of each other.

(it is possible to shoot oneself in the foot, but ...)

Are you asking how you can shoot yourself in the foot
(aka create Java EE applications that is not easily independently
deployed and restarted)?

This was the question from the beginning.
Will it be possible to deploy only one project with

sudo /usr/local/glassfish-4.1.1/bin/asadmin deploy
     --force Projekte/Profil/dist/Profil.war

or deploy a second one, too ?

Ralf

Yes it can, "asadmin" is the command to use. The following sub commands
will get you started (replace "..." with your parameters):

** creation:
asadmin create-virtual-server ...
asadmin create-jdbc-connection-pool ...
asadmin create-jdbc-resource ...

** removal:
asadmin delete-jdbc-resource ...
asadmin delete-jdbc-connection-pool ...
asadmin delete-virtual-server ...

** list / test:
asadmin list-virtual-servers
asadmin list-jdbc-resources
asadmin ping-connection-pool ...

** deployment:
asadmin deploy ...
asadmin redeploy ...
asadmin undeploy ...

Thanks a lot. It is always good to answer a question with "yes" or "no",
but not with question. These documentations are rather large.

Regards.
