Dear All, Anybody observe the same? JDK 8.162 Windows, if the GUI is idle, sometimes the CPUs don't go down to 1% busy. Happens to me sometimes when I move the window . One CPU goes up to 100% and another to 50%. Then when I click in menu bar, everything is back to normal. So will rollback to JDK 1.8.0_152, lets see whether the same happens again. Bye

May this behaviour has to do with some changes
in the GUI management, I also observe:
1) JDK 8, Windows 10, dragging a window:
If a different monitor is used, the dragged window
changes resolution, as soon as the mouse lands
in the different monitor.
2) JDK 10, Windows 10, dragging a window:
If a different monitor is used, the dragged window
changes resolution, as soon as the mouse is
released.
And JDK 1.8.0_162 is victim of some bug, maybe
resulting from an unclean transition in the GUI
management code reworks.

JDK 9 and later scales Swing components based on the DPI of the monitor. That may have something to do with it too. -- Knute Johnson
