Hi All
The latest jdk 1.8.0_51 still not fix the scolling performance of
swing. When oracle is going to fix it? If i open a large file in
netbeans, the scrolling of the editor is not as smooth as atom/sublime
editor. I am using iMac 27" retina display.

thanks
from Peter (cmk128@hotmail.com)

Try this as an option on the Java command line:

-Dsun.java2d.opengl=True

What does Netbeans have to do with swing performance?
I open large files all the time no problem in Eclipse.

Because Netbeans is just an IDE, and so is Eclipse? Last I checked Netbeans is a slow IDE. I haven't had any issues with Eclipse.
