A system that I am learning requires the use of Maven. I decided to start with a minimalistic "Hello, World" application. The problem is that after several attempts the hierarchical structure (one inside the other? one after the other?) is not clear. See the 2 competing alternatives in the screenshots. TIA, -Ramon

The system in question is "Sphinx", a Speech Recognition framework, and
this is where they tell you to use Maven in your applications:

I did pretty much the same (except that all I had to do was select the "Build" menu item) with NetBeans. The output is the "Java Sphinx Library". All that is water under the river. You did it with Eclipse (which I have used in the past), I did it with NB. Now comes the fun part. I would like to write a simple application based on that library. Get my feet wet. I am curious: you are not by any chance an Sphinx-interested developer, are you? I would give an arm and a leg to find one. A peer. -Ramon

I will definitely read it, right away... and in exchange :-) you, sir
are going to take a look at the thread
"The Human Voice has been widely characterized, correct?"
in the comp.dsp newsgroup... Please?
