#30095 — Firefox on (http://developer.android.com)?

SubjectFirefox on (http://developer.android.com)?

Anybody use Firefox on (http://developer.android.com)?

I'm an expert user, but just in case I'm overlooking something
obvious.

Problem is, the left-hand menu does not scroll properly in Firefox
here. It scrolls from top to bottom of the list with nothing in
between. It goes from (android.accounts) to (org.json) with the
slightest movement of the mouse wheel. So I cannot access anything
in between.

I tried the location button on the left side of the address bar, to
adjust settings for that specific website. Enabled everything. Still
didn't work. Also tried updating to the most recent version of
Firefox.

The workaround is to use Internet Explorer, but of course I would
prefer using my default Firefox browser.

Thanks.

I see no scrollable area at all on the page you mention.
If you meant the related page

	http://developer.android.com/reference/packages.html

... then it scrolls just fine for me, both vertically and
horizontally, using Firefox 33.0 (with Javascript but not
Java enabled).

Could you try for a more specific description of the problem?

I meant the website. I'm sure it's throughout.

No problem. Choose "720HD" in settings.

Works fine for me, can't reproduce your recorded issue with my Firefox. For
what it's worth, the site looks vastly different for me, so I would suspect
that your dark theme or whatever that is might be having an adverse affect
on the scrolling.

Are you using Windows? If you want to reproduce it... Try setting
your mouse wheel properties to one page at a time.

Okay... Another workaround appears to be in mouse properties,
setting mouse scroll to the default 3 lines. I prefer one page at
a time, but I also would prefer using Firefox. Maybe I can set up
a macro to toggle that setting when on the Android website in
Firefox.

I was wondering why Internet Explorer ignores my mouse wheel one
page at a time setting. Maybe it has something to do with
incompatibilities with some webpages like Android's.
