SubjectUsing postscript in Java
Message-ID<87wpmf3fc4.fsf@Equus.decebal.nl>
At the moment I am using Ghostscript (from a Bash script) to render
postscript to a PDF file. What is the best way to do this from Java?

I looked into it once, as I recall there should be an API for Ghostscript, which hasn't been updated in years.
What is the purpose for it? Do you have to start with postscript? If not there are much better ways of making PDFs. FOP and iText are the most popular APIs for producing PDFs. pdfbox has some functionality for producing PDF but is more for using PDFs as input.

If you already have a script you could just as well execute system commands from Java.

I use it for creating things like:
    http://mob-com.nl/account_history_info.php?order_id=73908
    https://www.facebook.com/TimeManagementTipsAndSkills/photos/a.301775443228177.69771.104189696320087/902472369825145

I especially have defined quit a few borders. Would a bit of work to
translate those I am afraid.

I would like to make things like that easier.
I also would like to make it system independent, so other people could
use it also.
