One of our big telecom sector clients is looking to hire an experienced Sr. Java Developer to work on a web Portal (built with Grails) on immediate basis. Title: Sr. Java Developer
Location: Plano, TX
Type: Long-term Contract
Rate: 55 - 60 USD/Hour

Responsibilities include:

- Design, Coding, Unit Testing and Documentation for a new and existing feature/module
- Produce accurate, unambiguous technical design specifications
- Take full ownership to deliver on committed plans within time, budget and defined quality standards
- Ensuring review of work for adherence to the development standards
- Timely reporting of project status accurately, as required by Line or Project Manager
- Address critical issues in a timely fashion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 
Skills Required:

- HTML, jQuery, Bootstrap (for Portal and CC Forms)
- Experienced in development using AngularJS
- Experienced in NodeJS/Javascript Development
- Basic Linux Sysadmin (to do deployments and simple maintenance on Amazon Web  Services)
- Good knowledge in Javascript & Foundation
- Grails (Groovy) experience is a big plus
- 3 plus years of overall software development experience
- BE/B Tech in CS, IT or MCA
