:-)  Apparently, your friend didn't know about "cc -E"  ...

I guess, in Java one can be a jerk, too, especially with some \u00..'ery:

e.g. to interrupt a big block-comment and import some looks.like.System
hidden in the usual license-legalese block that nobody ever reads. I'd
guess that even most syntax-highlighting editors wouldn't "notice" (and
thus reflect in color) that.

Eclipse shows it all green, but the compiler of course sees it.
