I saw the problem recently on IntelliJ 14.1.3, if
you execute a main() inside the IDE. But it could also
persist to other IDEs, Consoles, etc..

It seems there are or have been even more problems
than only interleaving, when using err and out
at the same time:

Printing to stderr and stdout sometimes gets lost in IDEA 12.1.4
