Oracle has an 8 update 65 and update 66 both on the current release download page, not sure why we'd want to install 65. http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html states: Java SE 8u65 / 8u66 Java SE 8u65 includes important security fixes. Oracle strongly recommends that all Java SE 8 users upgrade to this release. Java SE 8u66 is a patch-set update, including all of 8u65 plus additional features (described in the release notes). so you take 65 if you only want the security fixes (less risk of breaking anything). I would take 66. Arne PS: Oracle has done this for a few releases now.
