In each iteration of the loop it checks a folder for files. If it finds files it starts a Blender process to render one. If we need to cancel a render, we log on to that server and connect to that session, select that command window and press ctrl + break, then delete the file. The loop continues checking for files.

The user drops blend files into a folder and a process on the server checks for them and starts a new render if it's not already running one. The user needs to be able to stop a render in progress (I didn't see that option in GSORF), and it should auto-delete the input to look for a new one.

I'm currently looking at the Capitalization sample for the client-server connection. http://cs.lmu.edu/~ray/notes/javanetexamples/

RenderJob Protocol
Client requests job ticket.
Server sends job ticket to client.
Client sends completed job ticket to server.
{Please process these blender files, and notify when I can pick them up.}
Server begins job.
Client requests another job ticket.
Server sends job ticket to client.
Client sends completed job ticket to server.
{Please cancel job ticket 00989}
It would be very easy to modify your Capitalization
sample to run on your own RenderJob Protocol.

You mean that a body clicks a button in a window?
What happens when he's taking a break?
