You have code that needs to run on the AWT event thread;

public static void main(String args[]) {
     SwingUtilities.invokeLater(new Runnable() {
       public void run() {
         new BarGraph(); // or however you want to arrange it.
       }
     });

You should handle your InputDialog cancel option.
