In two weeks I have to give a workshop of four hours to junior Java programmers about: Hibernate, Spring, Maven, Microservices, Cloud en RabbitMQ. (I know it is a lot, but that is the challenge my boss gave me.) The goal is that they will understand the basics of them all. I split it in an introduction about Hibernate, Spring, Maven with a hands-on about mostly Hibernate. And an introduction about Microservices, Cloud and RabbitMQ with a hands-on about RabbitMQ. Any tips about what to put in the hands-ons? To make sure the knowledge endures and is expanded on I want to encourage the participants to practice and explore each day for at least a month and give them some 'homework'. Any tips how to encourage them and create exercises that they will do and will them help building there knowledge? -- Cecil Westerhof Senior Software Engineer LinkedIn: http://www.linkedin.com/in/cecilwesterhof
