So I got a clean install of Oxygen, comparing to Neon with screenshots of warning preferences and they've added warnings.

"Unlikely argument type for collection methods using 'Object'", with an optional "Perform strict analysis against the expected type"

"Unlikely argument type for method equals()"

So I got this first warning on a .contains() of an ArrayList<> defined to hold objects implementing my custom interface, checking an instance of Component.  This is valid code, and it's only suggestions are to add a @SuppressWarnings, or configure warning severity.
