Nor can I. Using NB 6.1, SQL Server 2008, and a database I had kicking 
around. Right-click on the new Java Application project, select New 
Persistence Unit, and it asks simply for the connection URL once you've 
picked the DBMS type. I imported the tables as entities just to make sure 
all was well.
