Hi all, I do not know if it is known yet,
I was asking Len for some information, but unfortunately got an email back from his son Jamie who is looking after his email leonardmorgenstern@me.com, saying he died last month. See link attached.

I'm not familiar with Len, but sad to hear the news
nontheless. My sympathies go out to his family.

Mark

In his obituary it says that his papers have been widely published in FORTH Dimensions. Does anybody know what he was writing about? Are the FORTH Dimensions available online?

The only note which I found was in Paul Frengers article "Fifteen Years of Forth Publishing with ACM" where it says that Nathan Leonard Morgenstern gave a presentation at the first ACM SIGForth Workshop.

Leonard Morgenstern passed away, RIP.

But following his work opened up Forth Dimensions, leading to "The Forth Source" and from there to some history of Forth.

It is good to read "Levels of Forth" where we can see what progress Forth made and that we should see that there are different levels for different users.

Interesting literature!

My personal Forth Dimensions index (unreleased) indicates he had
five published articles:

V06N1 "Anonymous Variables" by Leonard Morgenstern
V12N1 "Anonymous Things" by Leonard Morgenstern
V12N4 "Forth & The Three-Number Problem" by Leonard Morgenstern
V12N6 "Arrays In Forth" by Leonard Morgenstern
V14N1 "Working with Create ... Does>" by Leonard Morgenstern

You can use the posted link to download the FD version and issue number.
